2021 YOUTH WINTER SCHOOL

An opportunity like no other! Unlock your creative potential and explore dance in a brand-new way at The New Zealand Dance Company’s (NZDC) Youth Winter School in Auckland. This weeklong intensive includes a mixture of dance training, improvisation and creative tasks to expand your dancing, keep you moving through the holidays and meet other dancers just like you. 

This year our Youth Winter School also includes a very special opportunity for you to perform alongside NZDC in their national tour of ‘Nigh Light’ in Auckland. More details below, we look forward to seeing you there!

Ages: 13+
Cost: $400, Early bird price of $350*

Dates: Youth Winter School - Monday 19 – Friday 23 July 2021
Performance Rehearsals – Sunday 1 & 15 August 2021 (TBC) 
Dress rehearsal – Thursday 2 September 2021 (TBC)
Performances – Friday 3 September 2021 & Saturday 4 September 2021
Times: 9am - 4pm

*Pay What You Can

Funding dependent, we may be able to provide a limited number of "Pay What You Can" options for students based on hardship and need. Any students who you feel would benefit from this experience, but would not be able to attend due to financial hardship, are encouraged to fill out an application should we be able to provide this subsidy. We will have more information if this initiative will be able to move forward by the end of April.
