2018 Youth Winter School - 16-20 July

NZDC Youth Winter School 2018 

The New Zealand Dance Company (NZDC) is excited to announce their Winter Youth School will be held in the July school holidays at the DanceWest studuio, from 16 - 20 July 2018.

Offering a highly sought-after opportunity for aspiring young dancers aged 12-18 years to “live a week in the life of a company member”, the programme provides an intensive week of training that culminates with a studio showing for family and friends.

Led by NZDC dancers Rai Iose and Lucy Lynch, participants will learn a range of Contemporary Dance Techniques, explore Hip Hop, Commercial and Fusion styles and gain Choreography skills from some of New Zealand’s most elite dancers.

Date: Monday 16 – Friday 20 July 2018 & Performance on Saturday 21 July (1pm & 3pm)
Time: 9am – 4pm
Location: DanceWest, 43 Keeling Road, Henderson, Auckland
Ages: students 12+ years
Cost*: $350 each

Scholarships

NZDC is able to offer a limited number of part and full financial scholarships for the Youth Autumn School.

Refund Policy: No refunds will be given for withdrawal unless through injury or illness. Withdrawals will be charged a 20% admin fee.
